Wrong again Matt. It’s you and your list of co-defendants that have cost Belmar taxpayers money.

Those Senators were actually saying no to the bills that included waste and non-Sandy relief funding. Typical Washington. Maybe Matt Doherty knows something about wasteful Sandy spending, remember the lost $2,000 wedding ring that he applied for reimbursement from FEMA?

Interesting story about Middletown taxes and who pays what in the Asbury Park Press today. Maybe they should do the same for Belmar indicating the municipal services associated with “Those” properties.

The Belmar Planning Board doesn’t have any power to “approve” in the redevelopment area …. just a sham.

#4. Gene, long history here ( can’t recall if Pringle brought in Planning Board or not). The entire Marina portion of redevelopment was brought to Planning Board. Too bad Doherty succeeded in shutting down the press through pressure and threats, like The Coast Star ( reporters fired ). At least for several years there was detailed reporting which included the history. Those days are over.

Ah, that’s what happened to those reporters who dared expose the Borough’s shenanigans. They were too good to be true.
