I don’t make it a habit to cover every crime story in Belmar unless it’s particularly heinous or there is some political angle to it but a couple or readers, one of whom knows the victim in this case, asked me to put something out about this.
If anyone can assist the police in identifying the perp please do. BTW, the article says the Explorer is an 2006 or 2007 model but the style in the photo above was used all the way to the 2010 model year.

Another car accident yesterday, June 2nd, occurred around 1pm at 7th Ave and Main Street. Weekends are NOT safe to walk in Belmar..
I had several close calls by drivers on Main Street. I cannot claim that anyone in the administration would like to take me down, hahaha…Probably just tipsy people or inattentive texters. Or people above the law.
#s 1 & 2, You must be alert at all times while driving or afoot. This is a different world now and reason and logic no longer exist as it did in the past.
