You know I hate to ask people for money. This is why, if elected, I am going to be a good friend of the taxpayer.
But if Tom and I are going to be able to help Jim Bean move Belmar forward from the darkness and despair of opaque, exclusionary and fiscally reckless leadership to the bright, sun-lit fields of transparency, inclusiveness, and fiscal responsibility, we need to win this election. I’m sorry but I do need to point out that sending us a check will get you on the enemies of the mayor list, otherwise known as Belmar’s Campaign Contribution Disclosure report. The administration is a big supporter of the privacy rights of those it gives money to, but those who might like to see a change of leadership here have no privacy rights at all.
But c’mon. Do the right thing. Stick your necks out. Write those checks. And include contact info please.
