X-rays taken yesterday reveal my new hardware:
Those two squares between the screws are titanium cages filled with chips of bone that had to be removed from the inside of two of my vertebrae.

WILD! I hope your procedure helped!
It was supposed to stop any further damage to my spinal cord and seems to have worked. Thanks for your good wishes.
Keep a picture of this with you to use at airport security or other places with metal detectors, like jury duty or courtrooms.
cheeze, watt’a mess…
Glad it worked Dave but you have to take a back seat to me my friend. I have more metal in me than I hope you will ever have. Just so you know watchman has no clue. You may set off the metal detectors at the airport and they will pat you down but any other ones (court house etc) will not pick it up and if it does they “wand” you and let you pass. Also now the full body walk-through scanners see it and you pass right through.
#5 Good to know. I have not flown for a while. Will pass on the word to my old-fashioned friends.
