Councilman Tom Brennan, who’s wife Merry pictured above was one of the participants, discussed this event during his report to Council at the July 11 meeting. For some reason no minutes are published for any 2017 meetings but if you go to my YouTube of the meeting, part 1, 53:40 you’ll get to hear him waxing poetic on the need to stop dehumanizing people who simply have a political difference with you.
That was then. This is now.

BTW, I would remind the Councilman that just 6 months ago Donald Trump won in every voting district in Belmar, garnering nearly 1600 votes from Mr. Brennan’s racist, white supremacist constituents.

Mr. Brennan and other lefty “Progressives” have double standards and are just as guilty of dividing this country as are right wingers.
I for one take offense to anyone preaching about how I need to behave.
So Brennan considers so many of proud Belmar Trump voters of ALL POLITICAL Strips to be white supremacy followers!
Sad that this label is being bantied about Ad Nauseum by certain team leaders. On the contrary, we in Belmar are a homogeneous people.
Bipartisan is the way we will restore civility and kindness to all.
Some people will never get over the fact that Trump won. The left always cries foul play, when in fact they invented it. Masters at it. If you don’t agree with them your called every name in their playbook.
I don’t agree with them and they call me an “OLD MAN”. Why 50 years ago I would have shown them a thing or two.

Perhaps Merry wants to deflect attention from Tom’s (Brennan, that is) biased rants. Like, “See, he’s not so bad, he is married to me!”
I do hope he gets back to the big issues facing Belmar soon. Stop the use of plastic bags in town because the polar bears have no ice for their colas.
