It Could Have Been Worse

Neighborhood owes debt of gratitude to those whose voices were heard in Trenton loud and clear…Jim Bean, Dave Rible, Tim Harmon, Sea Girt Mayor Ken Farell, Assemblyman Ned Thomson, the New Jersey Licensed Beverage Association and everyone else who did what they could to fight this and the earlier and more destructive versions of this bill.

Also, thank you to Chris Christie for last year’s veto.

Update:

I have the names of some other people who attended meetings, wrote letters and fought very hard against this.  Things might have been worse without them.  They are Reggie Hyde of Bar A, Tom Sueda of The Headliner and Ed Kelly of Kelly’s Tavern.

I should note that the Harmon brothers ended up paying a big price for Tim Harmon’s vocal opposition to this and also that the taxpayers are now paying for the Borough’s stupid vindictiveness.

I love the comments before the Governors election that Murphy was so wealthy that he wont have to payback anyone or any group and he cant be bought. How did that work out for you? Continued pay to play, bowing to every Unions desire…the list goes on.

the point is, the Democrat party of NJ can be easily bought. If you are an actual believer in the government looking out for you and your rights, you are misguided. It was so much easier to take a fat donation check and vote the way of the donor, then to stand by the rule of law, passed over 50 years ago.

I don’t blame the snake for biting people, I blame the useful idiots, that allow everyone to be bitten, and keeps voting for that same political snake party.

Can a dedicated Murphy supporter please tell me how reducing magazine capacity to less then 10 rounds made me safer?

I don’t believe the criminals in Asbury Park really care what the law says about magazines, or gun laws for that matter.

    Please help me understand.

#5 – Your correct sir. Let me add that in our state with a huge population who rely on the state for all their worldly needs, food, clothing and shelter there will be no change. Those people must keep voting democratic. They can’t chance any type of fiscal responsibility. It would do them no good. After all, they put zero money into the state coffers. They only get money from the state. That’s where we are and it’s not going to change. It’s also why so many Corps. and individual taxpayers are fleeing the state.
