So I guess those establishment with year round licenses don’t need the economic boost ? This takes money right out of their pocket. If I were Bar A or Boathouse or any of the others I’d be upset.
How about the people who live in that neighborhood? The de facto “season” is 9 months now.
Profits at the expence of the residents. Hiccup!
Bar A is one of the top grossing venues in the country every year for the past 10 years. I highly doubt they are crying
Will make for even rowdier St. Pat’s celebrations.
Bring on the green beer and drunks vomiting on front lawns.
Definitely not fair to the year round license holders. Except for St. Patrick’s day I wonder how much more business they will get, spring break kids are not coming here.
There are only 8 seasonal licenses in the State, 3 are in Belmar
All week, the DPW Army has been removing snow & ice from business sidewalks …. the rest just get violation notices ….
Pass the peanuts please.
Christie For President!!! It is now clear and simple, Christie has none of the international entanglements of Clinton. Imagine as the Islamic State prepares to cut our heads off next to the Shark River, we can have a beer first. Now that is compassion.
Another Christie favor? No thanks!
Interesting how David Schneck is against having seasonal liqor licenses extended a month, but he supported a candidate who wanted to lower the drinking age. http://dailycaller.com/2012/04/10/gary-johnson-lower-the-drinking-age/.
Yes david Schneck was a presidential elector for Mr. Gary Johnson.

Mr Schneck gets off on making a big deal about nothing. This is a man who’s political party is about having no government regulations on anything, no liquor licenses and he is complaining about extending seasonal licenses by one month to foster a better business environment!
#12 – Dave posted a press release on the NJ website and an executive order. Neither of those we’re written by him.
I heard a guy say “The best goverment is the goverment that govers least” Heard him say that years ago at a bar in Va.
a FAMILY EVENT …. everyone is coming to Belmar tomorrow to get their ass painted green.
OLD MAN, Just how old are you?
Seems so old I can’t remember. My grandson says I’m older than dirt.
Dear Schneck the Schmuck:
Please learn how to spell. It is “whose” not who’s.
Be a good example of proper language use.
The spelling mistakes can be tolerated but the foul language is going to be censored next time.
It neavur ceases to amaze me with this dumm interest in spelling. Its as if peeple’s lives stopped with winning the 8th graade speling bea and they nevvur gott ova it.
Origin of SCHMUCK
Yiddish shmok, literally, penis
First Known Use: 1892
Can we change the subject?
I always use a dictionary. That’s if I can find it when needed. Sometimes I enlist the help of others to locate the darn thing.
Thanks again Governor Christie for the mayhem you helped exacerbate.
