My OPRA was 2-28. They did the paperwork and bought the insurance 3-1, only 3 days before the event.

What about Liquor Liability ? Does Hanley’s Liquors have insurance to cover’s servers ? Does it have coverage to cover server’s off premises ? You don’t think the Mayor held an event served alcohol and didn’t have any insurance for this ? What was sent to the ADMIN is no more than a quote and nowhere in the quote is it stated that Liquor Liability is covered. Call Travelers or a Travelers agent and request a quote for a special event using all the same info and ask if they cover liquor ?

I would question how the application got approved so quickly…..or perhaps it was filled out after the OPRA request and there was never any intention of doing. I would also question why the Mayor did not have to hire police if alcohol was being served. This is in the application to which he initialed, yet didn’t pay for. Is this rule enforced for others, but not him..hmmmmmm

Will you see the Payment as a deposit or did they just note a check # with no intention on taking the Mayors money?
