It doesn’t say where in Belmar they are going to be on July 8, but I can make a pretty good guess. (Not going to be Salt or the Boathouse.)
And in a not-at-all related story, Chris Christie will be making a full hitch appearance tomorrow at the Monmouth County Library in Wall Township.
He will be there to explain his sudden found interest in the unfair New Jersey school funding formula which has shortchanged Belmar taxpayers out of over $20 million in property tax relief since he took office. While fishing this morning I saw matt and colleen with other people in business dress at the L Street Beach talking with great enthusiasm. What’s up?
I hope they were discussing the lack of bathrooms there …. was at the beach on Sunday with family. There was only one of the two port-a-potties open to the public. The sheet inside the one functioning (smelly) bathroom said that it hadn’t been serviced since Friday. If those are the only bathroom facilities, why aren’t they serviced more often and emptied more on the weekend. Came prepared with Lysol and wipes should anyone in my group need the bathroom. Sad state of affairs……
They are tearing down the perfectly functioning bathroom sometime this or next week. There is a new mobile one they bought to be place out of the way. All so they can take the field and trees to make more parking.
They were with the guys who have torn down the restrooms by the park. They are now gone

Matt and Colleen take a brief break from tearing down voters, residents and successful business people to tear down the restrooms. Build all they want . They can’t rebuild trust or confidence.
