As lovely as palm trees are in tropical places, they are an expensive
embellishment for Belmar. Still flooding, sewerage, infrastructure problems with the entire sewer line in town and many streets need work. And we spending $100,000 for undisclosed utility work at the marina that we were told Chef’s would do and is not.
Don’t worry, I am sure all of those palm trees on North Boulevard and in Shroeder Park will be paid for out of the Beach Utility Fund! And I hear we didn’t have to purchase the boat, it was a gift from our lifeguards!
Chef’s can make payment in lieu of taxes …. the Borough just leased the bait shop …. Marina Avenue hasn’t been vacated …. lots of underground infrastructure ….
Hopefully, Belmar taxpayers don’t subsidize the venture.

Sri lanka?
Looks like Belmar to me.
An irresponsible post.
How come those palm trees are tall and Belmar’s are short?
#3, what happened? Did you call FEMA? Get a sense of humor. (It’s Schroeder Park in Belmar.)
Waste of time and money and it’s ugly.
