As I’m sure you are all aware, I spend significant amounts of time browsing the web looking for stories that might interest you. Yesterday evening I ran this search:
That third story was interesting so I took a screen shot of the top of the article and linked the image to the article, as I do frequently.
I published the story this morning but when I tested the link I discovered the post had been pulled down.
So I pulled my post down and rewrote it.
Anyway, in the story Mr. Berlin stated that Doherty is following the same campaign rules as the Republicans. I don’t recall that he mentioned that as mayor of Belmar, Doherty has other rules he is supposed to follow as well. Which he isn’t because he doesn’t agree with those rules.
BTW, I don’t agree with the beach smoking ban.
Berlin also answered Shaun Golden’s observation about Belmar’s debt increasing by 120% by pointing out Belmar hasn’t raised taxes for six years. Of course that doesn’t change the fact that our debt has gone up 120%.
Maybe they are making some edits to the story and it will be back up later. I’ll keep checking and let you know.
BTW, although he doesn’t publicly acknowledge it, evidence points to Monmouth Dem chair Vin Gopal as being the author of the Insider blog.
