Just plain embarrassing.
You crack me up Dave, I was doing a double take at the photo and zooming in on it. Cory to the rescue.
That is the one of most self serving, pandering, political photo ops.
The special Belmar lectern the grim faces. It’s the kind of grandstanding that turns people off of politics and voting.
Not just the dems either. Republicans are just as bad in the states they hold power. Chuck Schumer and Donald Trump go to the same parties out in the Hampton’s. The rest of us fight over the insignificant differences that they perpetuate. We’re all suckers.

To bad my sister and brother in law had to sell at a loss, their still vacant, water wreaked home right next door to “home by summer” house. All those self serving, media hungry politicians on that front porch should be ashamed of themselves, but of course, they aren’t.
Remember, this home for summer family turned around and did a reverse morgage to pull all of the new found equity out of that property. Its like selling a badly needed donated car, to go on vacation.
…but then again everyone who donated their time and money should have know better then to trust Dirty Doherty. Serves them right for buying into this grab the cash and run scheme.
The ones this ceremony was for. Not the Sperber family.

I am glad that common sense for Belmar is still following this scam and I hope they follow it to the end because when everything is brought into light that will be a good story to post on this site

I represented the deplorable that day, watching and listening to the remarks. You had Mat, the entire council, Menendez, Booker
thirty from thr press and a half dozen regular folks. Too bad no media panned out so you could see that NO ONE WAS THERE. Spatacus’ remarks were so out there. I wish I had recorded his nonsense. Sandy is the gift that keeps on giving. When Michael struck here on the Florida Gulf Coast weeks back, I told myself to start following the corruption around clean up. Can you say AshBrit. Florida is so corrupt-and the damage by Michael so severe, willing pockets will soon appear.
Slightly off topic but an offshoot of the fundraiser at the former mayor’s house (thanks, Mr. Ehmann for reminding me) and the demonstration near that house and the big stink made by Doherty about the presence of his children and their exposure to the insulting signs…and his expressed displeasure of using children in political matters…how about using letters to newspapers written by children to praise their parents who are running for office? Makes me wanna throw up…vote for my mommy, she is so wonderful…gimme a break. Rant of disgust ends for now.
