Next Day….

Lawful Tomimage

If only it was this easy with Matt.

Still unexplained: How did he pay for those 8 1/2″x 11″ 4 color heavy stock flyers and postage with $450?

Not that it is a requirement to report this, but since a question was asked, and I believe in being up front in responding to specific questions, here is my response.

The flyer in question cost $232.70 to send (bulk rate mail) to all Republican households in Belmar (it is a Republican Primary and only registered Republicans can vote for a Republican.) It cost $615,57 to produce and print. Total Cost $843.27. And I had to make a personal loan to my committee to help defray the costs…..hopefully future contributions may help me recover from this loan, if not I will have to write it off as a personal donation. Those facts would be reflected in future NJ State Election Law requirements. Those are the guidelines my campaign follows.

It is my understanding that your assertion is incorrect in this instance.

Mr. Burke, it appears that not only are you in violation of the local ordinance but also the state filing requirements. Perhaps a phone call to Mark Walsifer or Josh Vallario and they can explain to you the proper way to fill out these reports.

Says who? I only respond to people who can use their real names and who cite exact areas of violation…exact is the key word here. Anyone who feels that I am in violation should bring it to the attention of the proper authorities. I will answer to them should they ask.

Mr. Burke, maybe take a look at a state compliance manual for candidates.

Claire, this is a new low for you to join in the political use of the heart break of the storm in defending the mayor. You have no idea how personally hurtful your words and actions are in doing so. Pathetic, just pathetic.

#11 She is just desperate to hide the facts of the present. Hey Claire people are not as stupid as you would believe. The “good” of the past does not cancel out the illegal actions of the present. I have faith the facts will outweigh the nonsense and your “great” council member days in office are soon to end.

#12 True, but a wider audience must become aware of the Belmar shenanigans. How to get the ostriches to remove their buried heads? That might be a real chore, would take more than F-bombs to shake the ground of die-hard followers of the mayor and his gang of no-goods.
