Thank you Admin for your time in researching this important topic. Of course there is no “as is” slip resolution. If every boat owner looking to rent a slip in the Belmar marina had the option of signing that ridiculous exemption form that Mr. Campbell had Mr. Kirschenbaum sign for a free or discounted slip don’t you think EVERYONE would sign it?
These guys tried to pull a fast one and got caught and they all should be dismissed immediately or face prosecution.
I’ve rented a slip for years in the marina and was never offered the opportunity to sign such a waiver nor any of the others on our dock.
We voted for Mr. Walsifer as did many in our neighborhood. If the present mayor and council choose to do nothing about this. They will not be receiving any of our votes. We feel cheated.

So if there were no dock rate resolutions for 2020, does that mean the 2019 Resolution pertaining to rates and “as is” rates are still in effect?? Whose running this joint. No wonder the marina is broke. But that $900k bulkhead in front of Chef’s building looks great ala Belmar taxpayers.

2019-211 was done late in 2019 and is for the standard 2020 rates.

It goes back even further than this! We need to investigate as far back as when Artie McCormick was running the marina. Back in the 90s, it was like the mafia down at the docks.

Huisman, Campbell, Poff and Kirschenbaum should all resign to save the mayor and council any more embarrassment and their positions on the dais.

#6 some familiar names in your post which are also named in the SALT lawsuit. Many ways in which their actions cost the taxpayers money.

Campbell was the one who used DPW workers and trucks to move his furniture. Now he’s pulling scams for his buddies with free boat slips. Mayor Walsifer when is it going to end for him? What will it take?

So now what happens? Seems as though this problem has been exposed….but nothing ever happens. Same with all the corruption that occurred under past admin. Sweep it under the rug and move on. That is why I am disgusted with politics.

  14. #13 – That’s true! So much gets exposed with dirty Belmar politics, but nothing ever happens. The surface gets scratched and then quickly covered up. The dishonesty & corruption goes so deep. Such a shame.

#13- Don’t be disgusted. Take it out at the polling booth, or by mail. Vote these idiots out to clean slate. Perhaps we’ll get it right one of these times. Funny how you don’t see this kin out crap in Spring Lake or Heights. If someone gave me a BS $83k job on top of my $100k pension I would move to either of those two towns in a heart beat. Free boat slip or not.
