This type of thing saddens me that female women would engage in this type of behavior. I would imagine they’re all of the grotesquely overweight, ill groomed, grossly attired race of spinsters we see moving about the town in herds.

This is typical of towns with to many bars… Good job Belmar police in making timely arrests… Now hopefully these two criminals will be prosecuted to the fullest extent allowed by law…

Summer Timer: All you do is bash Belmar and say how its so bad and this and that. Easy solution to your conundrum. Don’t come here. We don’t need you. Stay up in that trash dump in north jersey if you feel its that much safer.

#4…. Thank you for your feedback… Fact is if you dont honestly admit there is a problem, it will never be corrected… I just state what are obviously problems… Also I worry about my children, as well as other children that are residents, summer home owners and visitors… There is no place for violence in todays society, I find these crimes extremely disturbing…

#5 – Crime is everywhere and unbiased (mostly). To say Belmar is any more dangerous than any other place is false and discounts the good work of our police force. Show me a town where violence and crime is not an issue and i’ll show you a unicorn

I would think that on the night of the parade they would have a cop on foot right at the station, not just driving past it once in a while in a patrol car.

#6….Your statement is false… There are absolutely towns that are much safer than others… But your statements are exactly the issue… Not to understand that certain elements create a poor environment is just totally out of touch… I do appreciate the work that the Belmar PD does, but the elements in Belmar may become overwhelming…

[Dangerous] – All life is dangerous. The new manner of living makes everything x amount more dangerous. The idea that a person can be safer by not doing something (new manner of living) or having everything done for them is a dangerous idea in and of itself. Get out doors and do things and you’ll find things become a bit more safe, unless you kill yourself doing something. Which I think is better than dying or being killed by not doing something (new manner of living).

A certain disparaged “element” helped to clear out a disreputable mayor and council. Depends upon which element one identifies with.
