True transparency! I love OPRA!
OPRA should be used to get any and all information from Colleen and her run ins with business owners, residents and employees alike.
But like all other things she has been found to do either illegally she will get away with it. She broke a state law by turning off a fire alarm in a public building prior to the police or fire department was on scene.
And this folks is just one of hundreds of things she has done to make OUR town the way it is today.
#2 And yet, she will be given a new position as our CFO. It’s unreal.
She has to go! How about the way she has treated the concession owners at 10th ave pavillion. (Another lawsuit!) They are the nicest people. Compare that to Merri Makers. 10th ave has no access to the beach likes Merri Makers has. The town built them huge steps and even pay for an additional gate guard to sit there! Merri Makers still has people, without badges I must add, soliciting patrons on the beach to buy food. There is an ordinance prohibiting solicitation on the beach. Why isn’t that enforced? No other businesses are allowed to do that.
And when they built the 5th ave Pavillion, or Merri Makers catering hall, I want to see the work change order putting a door between the restaurant and the pavillion. Sneaky. She should be in jail for all the things she has done to the people in this town.
Plus, Merri Makers has a fenced in seated dining area on the beach! Which no one else has.
Beach Utility should be paid commercial rate. Who’s checking their cash receipts for taxes?
A vote for Brian Magovern is a vote for Colleen. Anyone who plans on voting for Brian should be aware that he’s not getting rid of Colleen. Whether she’s boro administrator or CFO, Belmar will continue to crumble.
Anyone know what Walsifers plan is for her? That will definitely be deciding factor for me, my family and friends.

What happened to 10th ave freezeout that was supposed to be in first aid building. Great people. Is this issue a lawsuit
And marriage makers has made the people of belmar very un merry. They must go.
And shouldn’t town employees live in town
I would love to hear from the mayoral candidates with their view of Ms. Connolly and if they plan to keep her as administrator, CFO or any other position. Hope not.
Walsifer will get rid of Colleen.
#11: Employment/Human Resource matters cannot and should not be discussed publicly by sitting council of candidates who may be prejudiced one way or another.
