The Tuesday Night Agenda

2020 budget hearing

SID returns albeit with much smaller budget

Resolutions here.

Ordinances aren’t published as of this writing, but 2020-33, amending and supplementing Chapter XI, sec 11-3, specifically the salaries of “Schedule D” employees, is something one of you might want to ask about.  Schedule D is is for “Other and Unclassified positions”.

The ordinance setting the current rates, 2019-05, is here.

The thing that’s interesting is that I can confirm that former acting police chief Andrew Huisman has just been hired at the Belmar Department of Public Works. I have been told that his rate of pay is $90,000/year but I have not been able to confirm that yet. When I find out for sure I will confirm it (or correct it if it’s not correct.)
