  1. Doherty was such an ahole. Touting his no tax increases for 8 years just so he could bolster his own political agenda. Which never went anywhere. God, I cant stand the sight of him.

Whoooooa. Hold on a minute. Here we go with the Doherty math again. ONLY $1.16 a day?? Remember the pavilion was only 16 cents a day. I’m am sick and tired of this crap. SHOW ME THE BUDGET CUTS, Pink slips. You can’t just raise taxes without showing some good faith budget cuts. Get rid of these bimbos. They were elected to bring financial stability to this town, not just to keep blaming the prior amdin. for all the reasons to RAISE TAXES. I guess this will be the first time in my life that I have to vote these two Dems. in, This Rep. crew is unworthy.

#2. Let’s wait and see what the”council members/mayor” do. We need to make them understand that just raising taxes is not the answer. Department by department need justification for expenses. Cut first then raise or lower taxes. If not vote them bums out. Oh God pass the aspirins please.

I wonder if the car the Acting Boro Administrator got when he took the position is paid for by the town? If so what other perks does he and the others receive?

Acting boro administrator has a new car?? Are you kidding me? He makes 130k which is probably more than the Connolly and a new car!
Speaking of car. I noticed mr personality Campbell took all the Belnar lettering off of his borough supplied vehicle. Can someone tell me why? Is he undercover or just doesn’t want to be seen at Atlantic club or anywhere else he shouldnt be. Mr mayor can you explain all of this at next meeting? I’m dying to hear.

Bring in an independent auditor to conduct a truly independent audit to get the real truth. Don’t listen to a hired Walsifer politico.

This crew, M&c, have no intentions of cutting spending. In fact, they kinda love the position they are in. They can hire their cronies on inflated salaries, spend foolishly( they know they have a couple of years in office to do so)all while they keep blaming the past admin. Well I really don’t feel like listening to that for the next four years. Start getting these people out now. CUT CUT CUT. Get the picture????

I understand blaming Doherty, he was the ring leader but should the clowns involved in the circus also get a little blame? Tom Brennan the council president voted “yes” to 4 budgets, Mayor Walsifer voted “yes” to 2 budgets, and Tom Carvelli voted “yes” to Mayor Doherty and the pavilions. Do they hold any blame?

#2’s comments are starting to sound reasonable. Where is a 3rd party candidate when you need them? Vickie Renner?? Jim Bean?? Mike Seebeck?? Belmar needs you.

Does anyone know if Lake Como’s budget is going up 21.7%. And if not, why not???? We’ve bailed them out of crap to stabilize their budgets in the past, can they chip in a little?? Their residents were faced with hugh tax increases in the past, and we took over policing their town. Bunch of BS? Show me the money MARK

First i will echo and agree with #6.Where are the cuts? are you telling me we can’t cut ANYTHING? Second i am looking at Coast Star and TAP. Both say new municipal tax levy is 8.08 mil but Star says last year was 7.19 mil and TAP says it was 6.64. So it is either a 12.4% jump or a 21.7% jump .Which one has it wrong? And does anyone have info on year over year ratables ?up or down? how much?
