Interesting that Belmar’s BA Mr. Kirschenbaum “confirmed the police department bills the establishments (bars)after the policing is completed”. With the transparency of the new administration, we the people should know the amount billed to each establishment by the Belmar PD. In the article on of the owners of the Parker House said they “made contributions to Sea Girt totaling nearly $500,000 in recent years”.

What have we billed Bar Anticipation since taking over Lake Como policing? What have we billed D’Jais each year for the past 10 years?

The Belmar Santander bank building looks horrible with all that lettering on it now.i guess we don’t have code enforcement of commercial signs anymore in town. It’s an eyesore coming soon. Parker house who cares.

How did Sea Girt came up with that number of $500k to bill Parker House? How does Belmar comes up with the $ we charge bill the bars and where does it go?

Belmar needs to have DJ’s clear their south side parking lot and make it a dedicated pick up and drop off area for ride share and cabs. Very dangerous last night with them illegally parked on 18th near crosswalk and double parked on ocean avenue

#3 … it is my understanding that Santander reserved the ATM part of the building … construction should be blocked from public view

Parker House used to be a fun place where you can grab a drink with your co-workers. Then place got really greedy. Holding the line, over charging at the door, being extremely rude to those 50 and older who just want a drink. Next thing you know, they start promoting place like it is a nightclub on Social Media. This is a place that did very well WITHOUT promoting.

Parker House has no one to blame but themselves.

Is there any valid reason why D’Jais has an occupancy level of 600 people and when and who gave them approval to build an outdoor bar area behind their building? Council? Mayor? Anyone?

#9 can you please elaborate on what you mean by outdoor bar? They have a full bar outside in the open air? Since when?

You mean to tell us Sea Girt didn’t like Staten Island and Nicky Newark flooding their streets like Belmar does?

My bet is that the new mayor and council will continue to ignore the overcrowding and the questionable expansion at D’Jais.

Many in this neighborhood were here long before Djais. Long before 1959 when Dominick Joseph DiSalvo opened the joint. Many decades long before 1979 when Sementa, Luddecke and Conner and turned it into something very different.
