JCP&L would have placed the pole lighting in the correct position so as to obviate ELECTROCUTION OF MAN OR BEAST in Belmar.
Does Belmar’s JIF or high risk insurance company know of matt and col’s inexperienced street lighting fiasco? She may be listen to the JIF pipeline but that pipeline may be cut by the BPU.
The poles aren’t even close to the power lines. The ones carrying high voltage are up top. The bottom are either Verizon or Cablevision
Oh, I actually didn’t even look at the photo. That one is pretty close. Why can’t they just tighten the wires to space it out more?

#7 …. correct …. the high voltage power lines ARE the highest conductors on the wood utility poles.
from the picture …. it appears that 3 phase conductors rest-on the metal light fixture. JCP&L wrapped an orange insulator blanket on the fixture for some temporary abrasion protection.
There are a bunch of electric safety hazards on Main Street …. recently created by the Borough.
Ask an Electrical Engineer what’s the scoop on the misplacement.
