Re-Elect Tom Who??

In all my years I never saw a campaign flyer with the candidate’s name spelled wrong.

BTW, with a councilman who can do all these things, who needs a mayor?

Car dealers bad.  Bars good.

But, but, but he sings da blues and has a cool Van Dyke styled beard. Vote common sense for a CHANGE. And take a CHANCE for CHANGE. Who the heck is the proofreader responsible for that huge blunder? That is reason enough to vote in a professional business person. A teacher? Kids today, don’t get me started on that one.

At least the used car dealership on Main Street paid taxes. Does Belmar collect any taxes from the empty lot?

Brennam is personally responsible for every item on that list, like Superman. Maybe he built the church where the senior center is set up. Singlehandedly while wearing tights and a cape.

    They forgot to add

Belmar is the most sued municipality in NJ and has been found guilty of violating civil rights.

Belmar’s mayor and council are being sued for fraud, racketeering and other criminal violations.

Belmar’s Council says yes to anything the Mayor wants to do.

The Mayor arranged the building of a Pavilion and made an agreement with a caterer to have monopolistic use of the Pavilion that was paid for with taxpayer money.

    Need I say more??

$925,000 is not savings …. it is the cost of privatization of Belmar resources.

Ha ha, what a bunch of fluff.

How about some real issues like declining quality of life, school test scores, too many bars, too much money lost to lawsuits against the town…

Belmar doesn’t have 8 new playgrounds …. the ‘grounds’ existed and then were polluted with plastic the last 5 years.

Yep! No used car dealers on Main Street …. The Belmar Business Partnership uses Main Street for car shows.

Brennan is following in the footsteps of the mayor, untruthful and spin-crazy. Is your name Tom Brennan? No, it is Thomas Brennan. I mean Brennam. Did you approve the contents of this mailer? Uh, maybe, I had my headphones on.

The year Jimmy ran for Mayor, Tom apologized to me for a mailer that went out which was very derogatory regarding our children (at the time Brennan was running for council). He told me he does not look at the mailers and that Matt handled it all, and had he seen it he would not have let it go out. So no, I do not believe he was able to proofread this one either.

So Brennan still trusts Matt to oversee the mailers? That’s bad. Or good, depending on how one looks at it. Blame the mayor, not Brennam. Nah…still bad. Untruths are still untruths. The person who writes them and the one to whom they are credited. Vote ’em all out.

My favorite one is the part about home values rising… home values have risen nation wide due to where we are in the real estate cycle. This would have happened regardless who is in charge. I’d venture to say that Belmar is lagging behind other shore town… What would be interesting would be comparing Belmar’s value increase compared to other town’s like Asbury Park… Belmar’s increased value percentage does not even come close! Same with Spring Lake, Sea Girt, and Avon.

We have a lot of work to do in order to make the necessary changes to steer this ship back towards a family focused and resident focused community.
