Kudos to Common Sense For Belmar. After the Wall citizen spoke, Brian Magovern gave a suggestion to the borough administor that the tax assessor “listen” to what the gentleman had to say. How would the tax assessor happen to be able do that? Let’s go to the video tape!
Mark Kirschenbaum, did you do the 4 Tax Appeals yourself or did you do it yourself? Can you share this public service information?
Anyone seen Matt ? He must be listening to his lawyers for once.
In what twisted world is it unacceptable for concerned citizens to be outraged about blatant disregard for the law, duplicity, lying, noncompliance with campaign donation reporting, ignorance of rules and procedures, taking pay-off money and doing obvious favors, etc.? Is that what politics is supposed to be about? A few people should go back to school and take a refresher course in early American history. What kind of lives do “those people” have, those who point out the wrong-doing, a former councilwoman asked? I’d call them Real Americans who honor law and correctness, independent thinkers who know right and wrong – not political stooges on the bandwagon for a LOSER and his band of blind mice.
And as for the elderly gentleman who was so disgusted about “what they are doing” to Jennifer? Well, no one is doing anything to her, what has happened, she has done to herself and she got caught. Blame everyone but the one who breaks the rules. Grow up!
To the fellow who referenced the “Buy a Board” campaign? Can he point out the boards with the names of donors on them? Where is that money? That was a sham-scam.
VOTE NO ON SEPTEMBER 27th. This is critical to keep Belmar from becoming Corruptionville.

Anyone who votes YES on September 27th, votes to support and encourage corruption. Is that direct enough?
Has Joy recived the FEMA emails yet ? Brian and Jen normally when tax payers are talking you should listen instead of joking and looking at your phones.

It’s like watching Our gang comedies on the dias. Elbow jabs and insider jokes I’m embarrassed for them. It’s like they don’t know any better. It used to be matt and jen but mat can’t take the heat on this one. No decorum except for salute to the flag and moment of silence, one meeting after another. Not exactly a civics lesson if schools still taught such an antiquated course.
And why the heck does any council member have an Ipad in front of them ?!

Is there a way to subpoena their phone records for the time during the meetings? How disrespectful to be constantly on the phone. Who are they talking to? Each other? Matt? Maybe there should be a camera on the dais? I know they write notes to each other, you can see that plain as day – but what’s being said should either be public or saved for the closed session.
I don’t think anyone gets a warm, welcome feeling when attending these meetings …. the first positive step would be ADA compliance …. stand or sit microphones …. and a handicap accessible ramp to the dais.
I suggest boycotts of businesses in town that display vote for So-And-So signs in their windows. My money is not red or blue.
