I’d just like to say of the Taylor Pavilion, the fencing along the walkways is quite rickety. I noticed it when I helped with the women’s club book sale recently.
Tom. If you are referring to the railing and hand rail it’s called “crap”. Sub par shoddy workmanship that somehow was approved by either the administration or engineering firm that was hired to oversee this waste of money. If this is what we can see of Epic’s work, I can only imagine the poor quality of material used on the interior, un-visible parts of the structure. Within two years the taxpayers of Belmar will be footing the bill once again to replace these shortcomings.

#1 who are we supposed to vote in? If Walsifer catches your ear he goes on and on about how he made a deal with DJais for votes and he brags about that is how he got voted in for Council. His running mate, who lives in the fourth district, is silent and like a lap dog. When our politicians are bought and paid for nothing will be resolved. It will keep going on.
#8 Jim Bean is no longer interested, it seems. That Josh Vallario guy faded away. Admin is moving to NH. Are there any honorable people who would run? Mike Seebeck? Patricia Corea? Any sparkplugs for change?

The reality is that the Appellate Court Affirmed Judge Gummer’s Awarding of plaintiff Counsel fees when she determined that the Borough Administrator’s Interpretative statement was misleading to
the Voters of Belmar.
I will not receive any compensation from Belmar for sticking my neck out to make Belmar’s Administration follow the Rule of Law.

#11 and all readers: As i indicated above I ust wanted the media records to be correct. Misleading headlines can cause havoc. Sometimes people deliberately delete portions of sentences thinking they are not lying.
If anyone has spent any amount of time at Taylor, and how could you when you can never get in there, you’ll see how poorly constructed, thought out, and maintained it really is. $4 million for that monstrosity is truly shameful.
Yes, there are many ways to twist words and phrases beyond their original meaning. Press? Maybe a misunderstanding. The former mayor? Deliberate manipulation.
About the Merry Maker Pavilion – that brown railing looks like it was slapped on as an afterthought, probably to use up left over material. Ugly as sin, no, ugly as what has become of the government of Belmar.
Think of the house you can build for $4 million. Seriously, think about that and look what we have.
Remember Brian Mcgovern and Jennifer Nicoly were council President and councilwoman. They wanted that pavilion at any cost. Who voted in lock step with Matt Dorehty, always. Even after losing law suit after lawsuit they went along to get along. Forcing residents to petition and sue.
The news media coverage of Belmar is and was pitiful. The headline here makes it seem like DeSanctis,Bean,Coria,Dean and Seabeck were looking for a payday instead of what they were really about!!

Joy, like I told our former mayor at a meeting after he deprived your family of planting your memorial tree he is a small vindictive little man. And our council Nicoly Brennan and worstly Mcgovern went right along in all of these injustices.
And working it all for Matt is our Borough Administrator Colleen Connolly. SHE is responsible. She has to go!!!!

This decision only enhances any future lawsuits pending ie; the Harmon brothers, Lifeguard etc. Due to the fact that Mayor McGovern, Nicolay, Brennan, and BA Connolly cant be trusted. Their credibility, especially Connolly will be destroyed on the stand. Connolly is inept and a complete phony. She needs to be fired immediately.
Trina, a big shame on them; let’s roll up our collective sleeves and get back to work trying to figure out how we can dig ourselves out of monumentous debt incurred by Doherty and his henchmen. No more bilking or selling our town to the highest bidder ($).
Too bad our Republican candidates are no answer.
