Ask Mr. Dupont what happens when you give an opinion based on what the mayor wants to hear and not what is the law. Whether this opinion is a funky chicken dance or not, he never did explain, under what NJSA context the petition is allowed to be rejected.
In other words, since the offense can’t score a touchdown, the whole game should be thrown out, so says the opinion of the sportscaster who loves the team.
Read through it once. Perhaps I will try it again later. Or, hope someone can paraphrase it for easy understanding, or is it just a bunch of BS?
I’d be more interested to know if the borough has the ability to “reject” a petition. The next petition should be a recall.
I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
Wow, does this guy realize there’s an empty seat on the US Supreme Court. He should give Obama a call not. A Constitutional Wiz!!!!
The petition stands.
Here’s my legal opinion. Client privilege occurs in a municipality where there is a lawsuit, employee matters, PRIVILEGED issues, etc.
Since none of that exists regarding the petition and the matter is not client privileged it must be private. Send the legal bill directly to Colleen Connolly and Matt Doherty for personal payment for their private request for a legal opinion from Mr. Rivera in a matter that personally affects only Matt Doherty getting a lot of money and Colleen’s future employment.
