I’m thinking we’re going to need a good sump pump although Karen tells me we had a fair amount of rain up here the last few days. (I’ve been out of town and am seeing my new hole for the first time.)
There were enough big rocks down in there to build Fred Flintstone a new house but the great news is that there was no ledge, which had there been any it would have been very expensive to get it removed.

Looks like a beautiful spot Dave.
Perculation test before building?
We’re not using a septic system. Lot has city sewer.
Dave, looks like very rocky terrain.
Keep those boulders! That area has some amazing wall builders up there that can do wonders to your landscape. Enjoy.
Dave is that Karen on the left by the car???? She looks like Nanook of the North?!? Lol!!!!!! Is it that cold???
Also, take Bill Merkler advise! Build that wall!!!!
She’s always cold. Wall is a good idea. And it will have a big, beautiful gate.
Schneck Wall at Schneck Lake sounds so, Romantic. I like it!
Bill and I will match you and Karen and raise you twice. We have three lakes during 6 months out of the year. Frogs are SO LOUD, we have to close off the house. RIBIT!
