You’re kidding right. If there was ever a time to make cuts it was last year prior to them raising your taxes 10%. I would love to see a poll ranking this present group from a 1 to a 10. Also a poll as to whether short term summer rentals should be curtailed. This crew just doesn’t get it. Where are all you MC supporters. Cricket. Cricket.

DJais is exempt from all social distancing rules. I am sure they will have a waiver issues from the Gov or their pal Vin Gopal will step in with its own economic stimulus package for them. Wouldn’t even be surprised if they take advantage of this closure and get year round clearance to operate !

Remember post Sandy “rewards” for time lost from cash bars? October 29th to license close, first week of November.

Their seasonal licenses were extended by opening three month earlier.

I guess with all these Special Events being cancelled we can get rid of our do nothing “special events” coordinator Frank Centelli. That cut will save us over 70 thousand.

Can someone please give us some background on this Frankie guy? His job description? Full/part time? Prior experience/job? Resident of town? Whose job did he take or was it a new position? Retain an office? Work remotely? Take home vehicle? Answers to whom?
Salary range per ordinance? Thank you.

Those are all great questions #7. Thet need to be asked at a council meeting so the mayor can answer.

Employers are prohibited from discussing employees publicly. Like HIPPA more or less. Think Mary Tourism is leaving Bmar.

I’m happy to see the Seafood festival go down. It was getting close to riot levels. All it needed was one little spark and we could have had a real sticky-wicket on our hands. I hope it’s finally done forever.
