   #4 This must be in retaliation to Avon’s electric sign directing Belmar visitors away from their beachfront for the last 3 weekends. What an embarrassment that our neighboring towns are now displaying their frustration with Belmar’s never ending attempts at drawing more and more visitors. What is more interesting is that there were 2 fixed signs, one at the Avon turn-off on Rt. 35 and the other at the Main Street light at the end of that turn-off, which said “Belmar” with and arrow directing drivers away from the turn-off. If that sign didn’t deter drivers then the later sign at Main Street directed drivers away from the Avon beachfront. I am sure the embarrassment to Belmar’s man-boy mayor was too overwhelming and he had those signs removed by the State DOT. This is all obvious now with the childish antics of a Belmar sign electronic sign at 8th and Main Street directing drivers to Avon and away from the Belmar beachfront. Grow up already!
