Back in 2012 he successfully defended the Jersey City Board of Education against a conflict of interest lawsuit brought by Riaz Wahida, a member of the of the Jersey City branch of The Element. Click on the image below to read about it.
According to the story, Rivera called the lawsuit “frivolous”. I think that really sealed the deal for Belmar.

Another Doherty political hack. Why bring another lawyer in ? Although it means absolutely nothing, where’s the opinion from the town attorney ???
#2. I am sure Colleen Connolly issued a gag order. I saw boro attorney in town yesterday. He had duct tape on his mouth. Won’t be saying anything.
