Unacceptable. He lives in town and works in town. That is not his personal vehicle and odds are he doesn’t have official business here. That vehicle belongs to the taxpayers of Belmar but I’m sure if questioned there we be a spin put on why it was parked there.
All of the “supervisors” have borough cars that they drive home every night. They do not drive their own car to work, use a borough car for the day and then drive their own car home. These borough cars are used on non-borough time frequently for errands that I am sure are not borough related. If anyone cared enough to check and keep track….
#6….That car belongs to Micheal Campbell DPW director. He is the only one who has that car.And he uses it for personal use all of the time and during work hours. And just an FYI….The DPW employees have a gym on site in the yard provided by MC himself.I believe its in the sanitation garage.
I can’t tell you who was driving the
gray car.But I Can tell you that Mike Campbell drives a black SUV that he received when the new cars came in after Sandy. Wave insignia on both front doors. This is fact and true.
Sorry maybe his car was in the shop.
Seriously you must be kidding me. some employees that live in a one square mile town are given a borough car to get to work?? This is town is totally screwed up. Taxes keep going up for this bs. Matt and his cronies need to go.
#17 Tulip….His Ford Explorer is def a gunmetal grey never black ,this is the vehicle he recieved after the storm.maybe your confused, the colors are very close. And he is the only one with a Ford Explorer.
Cant believe we havent installed a car wash facility within the DPW yet. INSIDERS know the savings plus we have an abundance of water that PJ’s car wash doesn’t enjoy?
Maybe the County should build a shared services car wash facility for municipal vehicles? Save time, money and oh yeah cooping and wasted pension money.
#22 – Yes, and the car-wash will be automatic so they won’t tire themselves out. We wouldn’t want that now, would we?
As we know, they’re not in the DPW to do anything strenuous (except George of course – that man is up to doing good things for the town).

Cooping on the job.

Never ends
This same thing has caused State employees to lose their jobs!
This is a regular occurrence
Who’s car is this?
#6 It’s the town of Belmar’s car. Question is who was using it for maybe personal reasons.
More importantly, what day and time was this?
Thursday morning at about 9:30

Don’t borough employees have use of work out facilities like the police department?
aka “FRINGE BENEFIT”
#11 Even if they do get use of workout facilities like the PD, are they supposed to be working out on borough time?
#13 no one works out on Belmar’s dime.

Dpw supervisor Campbell. I couldn’t believe it when I saw him pull in with the same vehicle at 11 am the morning after the nor’easter

The car computter records can’t be changed per a forensic source …. unless there is a fire.
a good excuse … “gotta remove the brine from the Boro vehicle! …. just taking a little excursion from a trip to PJ’s for a wash, vacuum and detailing”

George did good things for people
before he ever worked for the town and
since he has worked for DPW. A nice
nice family man.
George has always had the human touch in his hearth and hands. His contributions to this town mirror Frannys. Both are unparalleled.
