Questions. How much did they donate back to belmar Democrats or mcdirty. Some of this paid out of account ending 215 and some ending 219. What accounts are they. Is there a grand total for Harmon’s total and Kapalco. You can see that insurance only paid partial bill for 2019 when they were finally notified. Criminal!!

My understanding Joan is up until Mark took over the bills totaled $400,000 and those have already been paid.
Way above average for fees. Maybe everyone should go directly to jail?
Most lawyers and expert consultant’s are nothing more than empty suits and vampires…. Hopefully these types of services will be properly managed moving forward….

All these comments about the past… Keep an eye on what is currently happening… All these so called “experts” are not cheap… Also changing engineering firms mid project is a costly move… Wouldn’t it be more cost effective if more of the answer came from internal sources???

And these new pros may not come cheap ( (though non top a whopping 4.50 an hour) but that can’t be blamed on the new administration. If we want to find out what was going on in the old regime we need new eyes.

And as far as changing engineers, Maser can’t be trusted to monitor themselves or they would never have bid on Lake Como outflow.
By law a municipality most likely require a third party to conduct audits, so be it….. However, we have a new CFO and BA that should be internal advocates for the tax payers… Do they have the skill set to properly complete and understand tasks at hand… Or will tax payers be at the mercy of the high priced experts… If so, Belmar tax prayers will continue to see the same large expenditures… Knowledge is power…. So far our internal sources (mayor, council, CFO and BA) have not demonstrated they are up to task… But the expensive experts are…
It make me nauseous when Tommie boy throws his two cents in there over BS trivial stuff as if he ALL OF A SUDDEN HAS TO MAKE IT APPEAR THAT HE KNOWS, or cares what’s going on. His days are numbered. Remember when he used to sit up there and play scrabble on his lap top computer during the meetings?

Are you afraid you too will be blamed for this mess? Summer Timer is more like a FULL TIMER. All of a sudden you have 20/20 vision with all the answers.

Unfortunately I cant vote in election, but I can pay 10k per year in property tax… I am not complaining about having to pay this tax, but believe it is totally unfair that I have no vote… This blog constantly blasts TB who deserves what he gets… But TB and MW both gave the same answer to the previous budget approval…. “I was told everything is ok, so I approved the budget”… Sorry but that answer is not acceptable… Also I don’t claim I am an EXPERT, but anyone with COMMON SENSE would agree the answer they gave was not reasonable…
#14… Furthermore when the BA was asked about his qualifications, his answer did not refer to his job experience…. He gave a typical political response…. How many I individuals were interviewed for the BA position?? I know I am just a BENNY, but the BA position should be a PE not a PI….

Summer- Tommie boy has been in office since the beginning of the Doherty admin., a Democrat of the same party to boot. He has been re-elected at least once. He should have known the BS that has been going on. I am not defending MW but give him the benefit of the doubt only having been there a couple of years and as a lone member of the opposing party. And perhaps you are very new to the area but what has precluded you from voting in Belmar in the past. The Doherty regime has been getting by, by the seat of their pants, in prior elections, having people from out of town voting Democratic, recruited by the Democrats.Wake up.
Practice makes perfect. Apprenticeship on the job training the only way to go 2019.

Summer Timer ,you say it’s unfair you can’t vote here. It’s quite simple, make Belmar your primary residence, not your secondary. It is a shame many Belmar homes are second homes and owners don’t vote in our community. Just think if you all had a voice .You seem to have a lot to say on this blog , why not be full time and be part of the solution.
