They need to put in some effort. Get free stickers, tshirts with logo to give out, business cards and big bowl of candy
Sad in many ways. These workers are being used more now then they alleged to have been by their (ex?) employer.
I don’t really understand why these protesters are at the festival. Are they protesting Richie and Co. for stepping in on their turf ?? Don’t drink Samuel Adams beer ?? Where’s the PETA tent protesting the cruel way the lobsters are boiled ?? How much did UNION 701 pay for this prime spot ?? Or perhaps it was a freebie from our mayor on behalf of the citizens of Belmar. Maybe he should stop sticking his nose in places that don’t belong. I support the use of UNIONIZED landscapers on Inlet Terr. Does he ??
I think SALT should have had a protest tent.
Does Marina Grille and Anchor Tavern use only union labor? I mean after all we own the marina building right? How a bout all those food and small venders?
Another hypocrite move by Belmar administration. I doubt if a Right to Life group wanted to put up a tent it would be permitted.
The festival is supposed to promote Belmar right? Not someone’s political agenda.
How much $$$$$$$$ did this tent and location cost? Did the NJ Seafood Festival charge for this booth/tent?
