I only got through 7 of 23 pages. It’s pretty bad. Why was it that only a handful of Belmar citizens challenged Matt Doherty especially when he repeated his no tax increase mantra?
He belongs behind bars. I mean the hits just keep coming. Please Matt defenders, lets hear your voices. Great guy? Loves Belnar? He’s a heartless oportunist. Brian, Jen, and Tom- you’re all complicit. Tom, you’re worried about plastic bags? You’re an arrogant, hypocritical liar. Brian, you’re an arrogant, hypocritical moron. Jen, you’re a clueless, hypocrical phony.
Plus, Maser didn’t supply the inspectors w up to date maps. Why do we pay them? They should have been fired six mistakes ago.
I’m so sick of this crap (no pun intended). Budget, outflow pipe, 10th ave pavilion, CAFRA beach stuff, sewer system, 5th ave pavilion, lawsuits, pilot, on and on. Sickening.
Does this fall under Mike Campbell, Super of Public Works? And can’t we demand Maser correct their mismanagement without further payment? They were hired and paid to manage a no brainer operation – yes, we have problems at L St. beach that may be outside what Maser was paid to do – but they were paid to follow compliance in reporting issues. How many people work on this and what do we pay them? Appears to be only 3 and combined salaries if just under $400,000. Maybe there are more under that salary then the report suggests.
Infuriating.
This and the PILOTs are the 2 biggest issues Belmar faces. Debt – ha! We’ll have to get to that after we secure more tax revenue from runaway development and get clean water.
Sickening. I suggest we all give Mr. Doherty the ole Creamer salute (middle finger). Maybe he’ll get the hint and move out of town. Again, makes me vomit when I see this guy walking around town smiling. I challenge Mr. Doherty to come to a council meeting and explain himself. He has no spheres between his legs. Pussy, cat.
Perhaps Chef’s should have been required to upgrade the sewer system near their site(Rt.35). But then again, neither I nor the public was allowed to speak on any of these deals. And can someone please find out if Chef’s or Merry pay a WATER BILL. Or are the taxpayers subsidizing the flushing of their toilets. Thank you in advance.
There is no way that Richard Brand is on site 20 hours per week, per each license classification. He has three classifications, which would put him on the books for 60 hours a week if this report is accurate. If that is what has been filed, and that is what we have been paying him for, he should have to pay back every penny.
Is this more proof that complimenting the borough employees at every town hall meeting doesn’t lead to exceptional results?
Only in government employment can everyone get a raise, no one gets fired, and job performance can be done to the point of failure and still everyone is told what a great job they are doing during the reports to council. Sometimes they even get 3 year extensions on their contract.
Did anyone else hear that all of the kids applying to the county vocational schools from Belmar failed the entrance exam? Any anonymous posters out there that can help verify this rumor?
The sad part is that everyone accepts these standards. Nothing changes, the same type people keep getting elected, implementing the same old ideas. Why do we allow our money to be wasted on this stuff with no political recourse to the person\party\policy in charge? NJ is a one party state. There is no competition of ideas. The state is lost
#13 – As far as those children in BES, all anyone has to do is look at 85-90% of them and they know they don’t measure up to any type of real standard.
Tom Dilberger what the hell does that mean ? “Just Look at Them ” ? Moron!! I think Matt was the worst thing ever to happen to the town of Belmar without any doubt. But you sir have to be the worst person living in Belmar , 85/90% “Just Look at Them ” who the hell made you the almighty ?Your just a tired OLD Man that 85-90% of the people of this town wont miss once your gone! Just Ask Them ! I would rather have all the debt than your moronic ass living in this town.

#18 – Sir, your words are insulting. But obviously, you were insulted by my words. So we’re equal on that (insulting words). So where do we go from here? Do you want to leave it there or do you want satisfaction for my insult. If you do demand satisfaction, I’m fine with that. Any man deserves that. So all you have to do is reveal yourself and we can set it up.
Think it over for 24 hrs. and give me your reply. If you don’t reveal yourself, then all I can think is there are only two reasons you don’t want to – fear and common sense.
Thankyou all for the help pertaining to water at the 5th Ave. Does anyone have any knowledge who pays the water bill at the Marina Grill? Again thanks in advance.
No Avon kids made it into the Vocational schools either this year. One student per town get’s in as long as they test over 70%. After the school accepts one kid per town (if they pass the test), the school goes back to fulfill their enrollment quota by allowing all students from Monmouth County according to their test scores. It’s all kids from the Manalapan and Middletown areas.
#27 are you saying its true no student in Belmar elem. passed the exam or that you only know no child in Avon passed it?
————
Also why compare Belmar’s failures to Avons failures? Its not a sporting event where there is only one winner. It is reasonable to expect every child to pass the exam. Pointing to other bad behavior to exempt your own should not be tolerated.

This compilation of non compliance’s is overwhelming . I think we are screwed. It’s over Johnny.
This is nuts. The taxpayers of Belmar deserve better !

Too many road races must be great business for bar anticipation as they host almost all of these things. https://www.tapinto.net/towns/belmar-slash-lake-como/articles/lake-como-takes-steps-to-ease-travel-woes-triggered-by-charity-races
I’m paying attention:
CHUD. Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dweller (movie) CHUD. Contamination Hazard Urban Disposal (movie) 1984
Remake or do part 2 in Belmar with the cast of the former administration. The C.H.U.D. will emerge from you-know-whose shower drain?
Clean Water is the lifeblood of Belmar … and the former regime thought it was Booze
admin- thanks for posting the NJDEP inspection reports.

Speaking of L Street Beach…will the fishing dock be accessible for fluke season in May? Easy fix but doubtful.
#6 you win the ‘knowing the most obscure movie reference’ award.
Impressive

#13 – As far as those children in BES, all anyone has to do is look at 85-90% of them and they know they don’t measure up to any type of real standard.
Check the lease agreement to determine who pays the water then ask the Council.
#11, #14 & #16 … Chef’s pays for water at the Anchor Bar building only … can’t find MerriMakers purchasing any water from the town
for water utility bills try-

I humbly accept your challenge. 9th ave and ocean at 9am (if you got the stones sir).
