We’re not in the class of the other two. It’s pretty safe in our town for now. But it is changing. You can see it. I tell my wife to be alert when she’s out. But the way things are anymore, you can only be so careful. Just look at the way people drive. you can be doing every right and somebody will drive up on the sidewalk and through a plate glass window of a store your in and kill you.

It’s not here I know but over in Japan, a truck driver playing PokemanGo hit two women killing one of them and injuring the other.
What a disgrace. I can hear the spin on this subject already.
This is what happens under failed Democratic policies. What the hell do you have to lose?
Exactly Matt’s goal! Drunks and now crime, perfect.
Now Matt can justify all the BS overtime that he allows the acting Chief to create. Good thing Wilton and Lake Como is on the hook for 25% of it all. I’m sure Matt can’t wait to get all of LC for all their taxes too. Hand over the keys and piggy bank Wilton.
More proof that as Claire would say, the Mayor is doing a fine job!
I don’t get it now Trumpster sounds sane, I guess it was a good day to give up drinking.
There is hope for him after all
The congestion on Ocean Ave is a huge safety hazard. Get rid of the food trucks in the street. Add some crossing guards during the summer
Also, bars bring in crime and chaos. We have enough, stop already.
Also, hear talk of drug dealers at Belmar Inn. Drug dogs could be helpful
Perhaps it’s the added crime stats from Lake Como. Must be that heroin distribution network the Mayor feared would overflow into out town if we didn’t take over the Policing of Lake Como. Fine job Mayor. NOT. You can thank him for reducing the total amount of Officers needed to patrol both towns. Oh, and the expert from the state that said what Matt told him to say.
I am amazed by the lack of crossing guards and the most busy intersections? Safety is NOT the #1 concern or they’d be there. Crossing 8th Avenue is constant. Traffic nightmare and an pedestrian accident waiting to happen.
Wait for a drunk driver to hit someone, especially a child. The mayor is playing the kid card, so would there be a crack down then? I have seen too many distracted drivers, careless ones who do not check both directions before turning.
