These Chef’s cook up some good deals.
So, the new Chef’s restaurant at the marina in Belmar is good for the Borough for what reasons? Oh yeah, a new multi-level garage is needed…
Belmar people were lied to by Chefs and jerkymatt. We were told a building more similar footprint to the one that was there would be built. Turns out it is another monster banquet facility, not cozy marina restaurant. Can not trust Chefs. Brick, watch your mayor if he is anything like the scoundrel we are stuck with.
If I owned the two pavilion’s on 35, and was told a “marina restaurant” was being built across the street, I may not take action. If this turns into a banquet facility (which it seems it will), I would have attended meetings. Here comes another law suit on the backs of the tax payers!
Poor water view pavilion . Has to hurt them booking weddings and functions
So would have a Taylor Pavilion with a 2nd story banquet hall.
Brick $& Belmar, perfect together. Huddled many occasions.
Residents should attend meetings anyway. Sneaky doings come up frequently. Transparency is the last thing this administration wants.

Does no one see the deal already in place to sell all properties on the east side of 35 inclusive of motor lodge, riverview and waterview? Come on. New marina makes those properties worth $$$$. Add a garage on boro. property, multiply that. Grease it with some no tax redevelopment. Chaching! Follow the cash.
Seaport redevelopment? What new marina? Can’t see it? Looks like the projects in Newark that they conned certain returning WWII vets into renting instead of using their GI bill to buy housing. The cycle of poverty folks, reminder where it was cradled.
