Evacuation orders are only effective when communicated by the Belmar Police and shelter provided, like Belmar Elementary School…. it worked with Gloria in ’85 …. BES is central located and our safest public building.
Stop the abuse of the Code Red system by elected officials and let the police do their job. 140 water rescues is good reason for change.
Mr. Creamer you are spot on. Code Red is underutilized by the current administration especially during the summer.. It’s use as a political toy during election season by the Democrat candidate running is an abuse by no other name.
