Aww…He’s so cute!
Looks pretty bad!
BTW, we’re up at the new property this weekend and staying at the Hampton House Hotel, where I just took this snapshot from our 3rd floor balcony.
Here’s a view out the back yard of the house we’re buying.
I’m told there are a lot of deer and wild turkeys back there. Sophie is going to go crazy.
We knocked on a few doors yesterday afternoon and chatted with some of our new neighbors. They were all very nice and very friendly and warmly welcomed us to the neighborhood. Steve from 2 doors down (he smokes on the beach) and his wife Sue invited us in for drinks right there and then and also when we close on March 16th.
Several were unhappy about people moving in from Massachusetts and other high tax states and then demanding more government services here. Cheryl from 3 doors down called them hypocrites and Eliot from across the street told us they’re referred to locally as “Massholes”. Of course we assured them all that they had nothing to worry about with us.
Also…there seems to be a lot of interest up here in some football game today?

Temperature please?
40 degrees
Ask them what they call the NJ people!?!??
I don’t think very many people move in from NJ.
Oh. And i know you think the idea of deer are wonderful but you could stay in Jersey for that!!!! We had at least 20 every day when we were in Freehold. Couldn’t have a dang live plant. Turkeys coyotes hawks bunny’s fox. The works!! Stay Jersey Strong!!!!!!
Freehold isn’t 3 blocks from the beach.
I would move to NH but my wife likes paying high taxes in NJ. However I think any move would take it’s toll on my fragile bones.
I had a deer eating my herb garden a couple of years ago and then there was the dip in the ocean. Get the picture Karen?
Change is good. I know you two will be happy there and won’t take your new state for granite ( joke intended ). Very cool you met your neighbors. The new friend we told you about in Port Charlotte, turned out to be a real case. I am sure or at least I hope she is not representative of New Hampshire folks. Big question…are you allowed to build a Native-American seat lodge in your woods?
