This is because the burden of supporting the school system will be borne by those property owners remaining in the “conventional tax scenario”. It’s not really fair.
sorry guys this doesn’t bother me. We elect people who get us so far in debt, so dependent on the state, so far outside what a free people should seize from their neighbors, that when a town wants to spark economic growth the first thing we think of is the lost revenue to the state, and how its not fair. We allow a family of 5 to live in a small 2 bedroom winter rental but freak out over this.
I believe it was 19 people making over $100,000 in a 1 mile town.
Base the budget off of the revenue. Do not base the revenue off what you budgeted.
Agree with cutting spending and with cutting the tax burden just as a matter of principle…if it sparks economic growth so much the better…but every property owner in town should have the same tax rate.
It’s far more insidious than Americans know. When Agenda 21 was adopted by the U.N. an entire new Progressive blueprint came into being. On the surface it looks benefitial, concepts like “smart growth” and sustainable green communities. What citizens don’t know is the end game is globalism and the elected governments will be and are already being replaced by regional governments controlled by bureaucrats. Speaking of public education, Common Core is the essential tool to indoctrinate future generations into the “new world order”. Just read the curriculum. Any questions Google Democrats Against Agenda 21. This organization has done a great job of exposing this agenda and it’s implementation via local redevelopment. It’s like naming radical Islamic Terrorism. If you can’t recognize it you can’t defeat it.

Does anyone still believe in “Trickle Down”?
Somewhat, but in this case it won’t be a trickle

Matt is a creep.Tom the hippy should be ashamed of himself, selling the school down the river.
And the other teacher should go to the school of hard knocks. He lives in a dream world of pixies and benevolent overseers.
#6 – Like I keep saying, teachers aren’t a well of experience.

#8 Excellent Post, Thank You, Teddy.
I guess Mr. DePeppe will be contributing to Matt’s campaign chest. One way or another.
Chest bumps!
During the last storm I rushed out and bought plenty of aspirins. Now I ‘m using them over this . Can’t win for nothing.
Looks like turreted Castle by the Sea
#11 Silicone money, or is that, teflon funds? I didn’t want to say, “war-chest”. Then I would think of a gorilla pounding its breastbone.
