100 Combat Knives?

Are we expecting trouble?

I was sent an report about the state’s plan to add some oversight to the acquisition of surplus military equipment by New Jersey municipalities:

If you scroll to the bottom of the story you can search for what your own town has picked up but I saved you the trouble.  Only about a quarter of New Jersey towns have even participated in the program but Belmar seems pretty enthusiastic about it.  Where are we keeping all this crap and how much is it costing us to maintain it?

If we get enough free stuff and sell it on the web maybe we can get enough money for the pavilions.

This equipment was needed not to protect the folks from outside trouble, but to protect Mayor Doherty from the “element”.
Let see how long it takes Tom Burke to fall over himself to be first in line to congratulating the Mayor on being able to get Belmar free stuff it really doesn’t need. As a real conservative he should be upset at the waste of taxpayers money at the federal level, but he is just a RINO so he will probably see this as a job well done. No wonder we are $18 trillion in debt and growing…but it’s worth it, Belmar got 30 “free” chairs.

Really Dave? Get real. You think because the belmar police have knives they are militarized? I hope you never need a cop to cut your seatbelt to get you out of a car crash. You are such a joke. Save your Fox News style for another town.

Chill out dude, I am bringing information to the people, information that there is apparently a demand for. I suppose should not have published that story either. And the Belmar police do not need 100 combat knives to cut a seatbelt.

BTW, I also learn a lot from Google.

At the February 3rd M&C public meeting …. The gentleman demonstrated salvage expertise by explaining the open fire burning of electrical wire insulation for copper scrap value recovery …. $ ….
    My comment was on-subject only.
It has come to my attention that the comment lacked sensitivity, and now I am trying to improve my sensitivities by walking on eggs.

Almost all cops carry a pocket knife clipped to the inside of their pocket for seat belts. Lets be honest, The combat knives are just cool big boy toys and I wish I could have one. As far as Law enforcement they don’t have much use. I appreciate the information Dave brings. If you don’t want to know any information you have the right to remain ignorant Mr. (Schneck stinks)
Why is there so much excess surplus anyway? It almost seems like the Government is printing the money to pay for it out of thin air.
