I would personally like to say thank you to all Belmar voters who signed the petition and especially to the organizers. I was told that there were many other voters that wanted to sign but it was not necessary as there was a sufficient number of signatures obtained to file. Thanks again it’s great to know that we can save money and build the pavilion for the 2.9 million from FMEA without taxpayer debt.
So let me see if I have this straight. The ball is now in the Council’s court. They can let this go to vote or rescind the ordinance and borrow less money with a more reasonable plan (i.e. build what was there before). Do I have that right?

Didn’t you have to rely on the mail-in-ballot voters from the November, 2014 election to get signatures?
