$50,000 Doherty Loan Missing

His 20 day post-election report shows the loan:

loan

By the way, how many employers does this guy have?  Two months earlier he made a donation to Brian’s campaign and was working somewhere else:

metlife

Last year he donated to the Nicolay campaign and said he worked for George McKelvey:

2015

I thought he left McKelvey in 2014.  I can’t keep track.

Anyway, back to Matt’s 20 day report and the missing $50,000.

Did the campaign repay the loan?  Not here:

dispersements

It’s not listed with the regular disbursements either:

expenses

So if the campaign never paid Matt back it must still owe the $50,000 to him, right?   Wrong!

outstanding-obligations

You know this isn’t that complicated.  Brian’s 20 day shows that the campaign hasn’t paid back the loan he made to it:

b-obligation

And Mark Walsifer’s 20 day shows that the campaign paid back part of his loan and that he forgave the rest:

w-repayw-forgive

So when a loan is made it can be paid back, it can be not paid back, it could be forgiven, or there could be some combination of the three.

Or it could be Matt Doherty.

Does anyone else get the feeling that the omission of the $50,000 was done on purpose ?

#2 Look at the name of the employer Creative Financial Group that should tell you something!

Admin to answer question of how many employers does he have.

He is not employed by anyone, a securities or insurance agent is an independent contractor. If he or she does not produce income (sales) for the broker they will be asked to leave.

Is this the only diner that would give them free food, or are they embarrassed by the outcome.

It also doesn’t show his address which could be because he sold his house at 112 Inlet recently…Has he permanently relocated to Spring Lake yet?
