Estate Sale At Joe Hillman’s House

July 17th, 18th and 19th.

Please go buy something.

I’m sure many of you knew Joe Hillman, an attorney in town and a former Belmar committeeman.  My wife and I originally met him when he did some legal work for us and we learned he had adopted girls from overseas just like we had.  In later years I had become friendly with him because our paths often crossed when we were walking our dogs.  I always enjoyed seeing him and chatting with him.  He really knew a lot about Belmar.

Terribly sadly his family was visited by tragedy several times recently.  In April 2012 he lost his wife and then in October of that year one of his daughters died while away at college.  Last year Joe was hit and killed by a van while crossing Rt 71 in Brielle with his dog.

His other daughter is the only surviving member of his immediate family and I presume she will receive all the proceeds from the estate sale.

I plan to go buy a few things, won’t you please go too?

As long as Doherty isn’t running it, you can trust the money will go to what it is advertised for.
