Was Council Involved?

No resolution?  No ordinance?  No workshop?

How was this even decided?

Last time I checked, 16th Avenue was owned by the county. Did the Monmouth County approve of this???

Wilton is just giving Lake Como away to Belmar, day by day. Wilton just lets Matt do anything he wants to LC without any thought or consideration to the residents. Just look what Wilton allowed Matt to do with the new one way streets and screw the residents of LC to allow Belmar ease their traffic problems. What a puppet!

Great. So now, who will pay for that cop to stand at the front door of Marina Grill and enforce this mess??? I will predict it will be the taxpayers of Belmar.

Matt and Wilton put up a 3 way intersection to go out to North Blvd, Now anyone that lives on 19th, Greenwood or Bradley Terr have to go all the way around to the narrow street of Parkway. The same street that the State DOT ruled that parking is illegal because it is too narrow, yet Wilton allowed it to be rebuilt illegally after it was torn out from Super Storm Sandy. Any accidents on Parkway they should sue Wilton and Lake Como!

As his Lord Mayor he is the CSO, in charge of security in Belmar Borough.

Add that title to the underemployed list of his accomplishments as a Caucasian community activist.

Do taxis get to use these drop off zones too?

And not one council member will have anything to say about this Matt/Colleen decision. What are council members getting paid for, to just sit there to say “yes sir” ? Puppets- all of them.

In 2016 Connolly had signs put up on 15th Ave. behind The Boathouse Designated “permit Parking” only. Tickets given to vehicles used parking ordinance for blocking traffic. Why cause they never passed an ordinance allowing for permit parking. This is the same thing. They cannot give Uber drivers ect. a valid ticket since the drivers have not violated an ordinance.

Then I can follow Connolly’s lead and post metal signs on my/town curb area stating No, pooping, pissing, puking, fing, fighting, screaming, loud noise, etc. No ordinance reference needed to interpret the law.

Since when do towns create a law/ordinance and it goes into effect immediately? Don’t they have to wait 20 days after approval to let it go into effect? Does Matt & Brian just violate government laws when Matt wants something?

What am I slowing down about #22 . There was a comment made about the parking and I stated a fact that 15th avenue is the only permit parking Street in town which is what thread was about. If u have other issues w the Boathouse feel free to contact me to discuss . I’d reach out to u but ur anonymous . Are we perfect ? No but I’ll take our 4.1 average on google, 4.2 on Facebook & even the 3.5 on yelp . Though I hope we can improve all three . Have a great day
