Since when do towns create a law/ordinance and it goes into effect immediately? Don’t they have to wait 20 days after approval to let it go into effect? Does Matt & Brian just violate government laws when Matt wants something?

The signs mean absolutely nothing however most people don’t question it’s validity. And the Chief of Police, whom I assume has issued directives to enforce this scam, is the one without a pair of balls. He should tell Matt and friends to come back when the ordinance is enacted. He will be the next one sued for Civil Rights violations. Puppets following the Pied Piper.

#5 – You are more than correct and this scam on the Belmar taxpayers needs to stop. Does anyone know the annual base salary of the last 2 chiefs and can we compare them to this “acting chiefs” yearly payroll since being anointed?

Gee! The Republican running for Brennan’s seat is certainly quiet about such things. Guess there’s no problem in paradise.

Technically, its not law unless it has a statue or code #. Belmar can’t just make up laws as they see fit. When they write the ticket, what is being put on the ticket as a code for the law being broken?

Seems like the free parking trick by certain municipal employees is being pulled up on the boardwalk again. They use to place Belmar employee tee shirts in the windshield to avoid paying for parking and from being ticketed. Now some are back using tee shirts and some now use some makeshift peice of paper indicating that they are employees. The shenanigans never seems to end in Belmar.
