South End Reader Writes Rible

As you all know, Christie wants to extend the length of seasonal liquor licenses in the state to 9 months of the year and is working on getting the change through the New Jersey Legislature.

One of my readers from Belmar’s south end is unhappy about the change and wrote to State Assemblyman David Rible asking him to oppose it.

Below is Rible’s reply:

Thank you for reaching out to me on the seasonal license issue.
I’m attaching a list of senators and other people that I suggest you write or call to let them know of your opposition. It’s important that as many people make calls or letters more sooner than later.
This is very time sensitive.
If there is anything I can do to help you with this or any other matter please don’t hesitate to call or email me. My personal cell is 732-XXX-XXXX. Or my legislative office 732-974-1719

Thank you again for reaching out and I hope you find this helpful.

Dave

The Lake Como (shovel ready) project doesn’t even have permits yet. It was all “PUFFERY” used by the mayor to get votes, Get a life you people, make the calls, get your kids on the cell and the web to tell how the screaming Fu Tony and all the cursing scares them while they are forced to stay in bed under the covers. You can make a difference and see how the ballot box is fixed again till you finally do something about it. Don’t listen to that ward healer who has lied through his teeth that you have to go along to get along in this town. Remember how much your collective tax bills are and how many police are called to your house to keep you and your guests civil vs the 18th and 19th Ave seasonal nightclub annual tax bill. Talk about theft of services. Have a block party and serve hot dogs twice a year to get your own political patronage NOW

Since when do proper permits matter to Colleen. All the work on 1.4 acres of CAFRA
permitted marina property has been going on since the Fall with any proper permits. The 2010 permits were to be filed along with the plans in Freehold. One of the violations they got in 2014 and still have not complied.

by the same small town thief who sold you a bridge several times over. I want to make Belmar “great again”. I am not buying into any scheme that make the mayor “great again”.
This guy is unbelievable. I remember when he was so concerned about Hurricane Sandy. Remember, the flooding, the hero Mayor in every newspaper. So…. bad….. Three years later, even with a grant its f-ck South Belmar. Then there’s the West. Three years after Hurricane Sandy and not one functioning ladies, mens room ADA accessible from the Marina at Rt. 35 to the tip of Maclearie Park. So these rich people who live in the restricted/affluent Inlet Terrace mansions don’t poop or pee.
I want to make Belmar great again ( or at least respectable and responsible. I have been very successful. I have never paid $800. a square foot for a beach facility that did not have gold faucets or marble floors. What’s wrong with these people!

Block 180, is that the charitable nightclub that’s owned by benefactors in their 70s, from the 70s?

Isn’t that the place the Brighton Beach people were looking at to buy? That would be a wonderful boon to the neighborhood. Persons of interest in your backyard with all the screening MeMes 9 months out of the year. Oh and of course the new owners might even have more influence than Cosmo at The Breakers did years ago… Year round licenses, then the Casino in Belmar. Ah yes, Ask Madame Marie in Asbury if you need more clarity.

Wondering if the State Senate will take into account the collateral damages sustained by surrounding taxpayers when their police departments are stretched to the limit with drunk and intoxicated collars causing havoc on our highways from Belmar 6 months out of the year? A review of Wall’s police blotter needs to be consulted. Maybe there will be a move afoot to restore the 3 o’clock close to help get year round license holders back on their feet since Sandy compromised their cash profiles too? They all have fundraisers toooooo.
