WHAT??? Frank from D’Jais is stomping for the Doherty regime? No wonder they were so confident in buying that year round liquor license. The fix is already in.
Maybe that is why 4 to 6 cops are assigned solely to D’Jais every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Does anyone think that if the borough needs that many police assigned as security at a bar that there may be a bit of a problem? Maybe the police brass can speak up and suggest that the occupancy of 600+ be lowered to something more manageable? Maybe 250 is a start, at least then maybe the patrons can actually use the few bathrooms that exist thus curbing their patrons urinating in our neighborhoods.
It’s like when you know what is happening and have been trying to prove it. And then there it is, proof, of exactly what you and many others always knew happened. Kinda leaves you speechless except for the call to the prosecutor’s office.
D’Jais and their year-round liquor license – Mayor Doherty’s Trick #1 failed – scheduling a planning board hearing in the dead of winter (2013) to allow bars as a permitted use on Ocean Avenue. Mayor Doherty’s Trick #2 failed (so far) – with his talk about changing zoning regulations (Spring – 2014) by no longer listing permitted business uses in the zones, but by his proposed listing non-permitted uses. That smelt like a set-up so that bars could be permitted on Ocean Avenue since 2 already exist. What will the Mayor and D’Jais conjure up next? With 4 bars taking up much of the floor space, along with the bathrooms, a stage, and a DJ booth, how is this small bar allowed an occupancy level of over 600 people? That is what D’Jais has invested in Belmar elections.
My God Belmar if “she is leading the way” we’re doomed. As far as Djais is concerned it’s not your residence that determines where you should perform your civic duty to vote but where you get xxxx-faced. Perhaps Mayor Matt could introduce the “xxxx faced voter registration ordinance” to make it easier in Belmar, I mean really why make all those calls.
“Image search her twitter pic! You’ll find her linkedin account. She’s from Marlboro and now works in FL”…….so in Mayor Matts and D-Jais thinking she is the perfect Belmar voter!!!

Yeah, I’m sure he’ll investigate this as aggressively as he has the missing Shop Rite cards. We might as well have Mr. Magoo as a county prosecutor.
I smell a RAT
Wow ! I wonder how long this has been going on. Better yet, why are votes so important to a bar ???

I would suggest that the county prosecutor look into this, but he has already proven to be quite lame in enforcing laws.

At least she had the apparent good sense not to do it.
Maybe she tried its possible
Frank wouldn’t give Red Eye the time off to go down to Miami and pick up her ballot
