Nothing will happen. LC Council never enforces anything. The bar will pay a fine to the ABC and it will remain open. It’s no wonder it is a local hangout for Manasquan High students with no enforcement from Belmar Police.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t see any charges of serving underage people mentioned in this article….and it seems pretty outrageous to me that the bar is being brought up on charges bc of a crazy person attacking an employee with a baseball bat. But haters will continue to be haters. Typical.

#1: There are high school kids drinking at the bar after hours? Not sure what you are saying.

    From the article:

“The Lake Como Borough Council has charged Fahey Hospitality Group with “permitting an act of violence on a licensed premise” in violation of state Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations and three borough code violations — serving alcohol after 2 a.m., admitting a patron after 2 a.m. and serving alcohol to an intoxicated person”

When bars charge admission fees to just walk into the bar/nightclub the town of Belmar should add a 10% tax to defray police costs associated with these places.

Belmar police are supposed to get involved. Lake Como pays the Belmar police dept $3 million a year to “protect and serve” the citizens of Lake Como

#15-I know he said it, perhaps I should have asked how he knew the police were not involved. If the person was charged wouldn’t that be obvious that they responded?

Thank god the bat had initials on it cause the monkeys who work in Belmar PD would have never found the suspect. Lake Como over pays for Belmar PD, they would have been better keeping their police department, they would have saved more over the long term.

#18-Where was your voice three years when I for one had the nuggets to question the whole Doherty/Wilton scam. It was all about politics. The guy from the State that spewed misleading facts about the take over was there on Matt’s behalf and was told what to say. Both Doherty and Wilton got BS political jobs with the State on your dime. Imagine that. Now deal with it.
