Not quite ready to retire and entrust the job to them so for now we’ll have a two camera shoot.
And BTW, some one please tell John Bonevich that Belmar is a borough, not a township.

Yeah, sure, they’ll tape the meetings alright, but don’t count on them. Anytime something important comes up, their system will be down for some mysterious reason that no one can figure out. Thanks much Dave for keeping your blog going. Will there be a comment section on the government tape/blog?
Is this another sweetheart pay job with associated health and other pension costs as well? If it’s a Professional rate for the position was it done illegally by resolution?
The Borough never took advantage of Cablevision or Verizon franchise agreements to provide municipal TV channels.
TV broadcasting franchise? Does the vendor own content?

Federal law permits municipalities to require provisions for public, educational, and governmental access (“PEG access”) channels and equipment as part of the franchise agreement.(47 U.S.C.A. §531)
Manasquan and other towns take advantage of the law and use PEG access.
The less people know what is going on in Belmar, the better for Matt.
Matt’s performance on MSNBC Steve Kornacki’s show was so entertaining, he should not shy from local televised appearances.
So Belmar doesn’t need a videographer. We have one Dave Schneck and he’s free and principled with ethics and integrity.
I would be concerned about “conflicting” tapes that could be used in future courtroom appearances. I trust the administration not one bit. Remember the Watergate tapes and the missing 18 minutes?
This had to be a friend of someone in Town Machine or union person and probably a sole source contract too. Stupid.
Along with the Borough videos can be a companion magazine, “Matt Magazine.” Smile big for the camera! What, him worry? Nah!
