Bizarro Matt

Mayor to seek injunction against drinking event.

Group eye roll please.

Of course he’ll get all sorts of loving press over this but it’s unlikely any of it would even be happening if Shore Point hadn’t have been locked out of this year’s San-Gennaro and Oktoberfest.

Can you believe this. To quote the news article “hundreds, possibly thousands of intoxicated visitors walking and crossing borough streets and intersections”. We get this all season long. Memorial Day through Labor Day every weekend. Don’t forget Tuesday night Beat the Clock. Belmar advertises and encourages this type of behavior, why would we wish to turn away or even offend our guests.

Matt doesn’t want people to donate to hungry people??? Because that would be his quote if this was his event and the taxpayers were complaining!

Very good MM. it’s about Matt’s scuffle with Shore and the Harmons. He doesn’t give one hoot about drunken behavior. Let’s face it, his favorite place DJS puts “thousands “ of people out drunk and high and screaming and cursing and yelling every weekend throughout the summer. He could care less!
    More grandstanding. Photo op BS.
What, feeding the hungry is only important if its your idea Matt?
Oh, and ps, I don’t even like the idea of these pub crawls in general, anywhere and in Belmar in particular. It’s just the hypocrisy of Mathew Dorehty that really irks me.

If it were not for drunken behavior Matt would not have appointed our most ridiculous Business Administrator Bill Young.

Wow. Is a permit really required??? Or will they just pass a new Ordinance next meeting or two, post-threat, as we are accustomed to.
