Both Sides Of The Story

Just to be fair, and also for comparison’s sake, I present the Republican incumbent Freeholder candidates’ 29 day reports.  I left out the expenditures to save time and space but to download the full reports, including the expenditures, click here for Tom Arnone and here for Serena DiMaso.

First we have Freeholder Arnone:

a1Raised a lot less than Doherty in this reporting period but had a lot of money on hand from before.

Let’s see the specifics.a2Ok, we have a Freehold Township committeeman,

A pass-through from Mary Pat Angelini.  (I didn’t know she still had an election fund.  I guess she’s hoping to re-take her Assembly seat next year.)

Charles Arnone must be a relative.

Andrew Bayer specializes in municipal law over at Gluck Walrath.

$1000 pass through from Assemblyman Jon Bramnick.

a3Gibbons is one of the state’s biggest law firms. It was in the news yesterday that Christie owes them $86,000.

Cherry Weber is a big engineering company.

Pass through from John Curley.

Feinberg the architect.

Community Investment Strategies is a big developer.

a4Greenman Pedersen is a big engineering concern.  Among the projects they are currently involved in is the new Tappan Zee Bridge and the raising of the deck on the Bayonne Bridge.

HNTB is a national “infrastructure solutions firm”.

Holman, Frenia, Allison is a big accounting firm.

IBEW 400.  Hmm.  That name sounds familiar.

Brielle lawyer Paul Kennedy.

a5Birdsall is a big family in the area.  Too bad the engineering Birdsalls sort of soiled the name.

Pass through from Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy.

Najarian are engineers.

Plumbers Union.

I always hear Rescinio advertising on the Rat to defend DWI cases.

a6CME is one of the biggest engineering firms in the state and spends tons of money on political campaigns.

Spiezle is an architectural firm.

T & M Associates an a engineering and construction management firm.

Congressman Thomas MacArthur pass through.

CME again.

a7

That concludes the Arnone report.  Let’s look at Serena’s now.

d1Just like with Matt and Brenda Sue, the women seem to get a lot less money than the men.  I think we need a political donation gender equality law.

d2

Lawyer.

Lawyer.

Lawyer.

Engineer.

Lawyer.

d3Accountants Holman Frenia Allison.

Sean Kean.

Lawyer Kennedy again.

Elisabetta Lazzaro, apparently a private person, but donating $2600 from Belleville?  Maybe a relative?

Maser Engineering, the house of evil.

d4Engineer Najarian again.

Declan O’Scanlon.

Harter and Pfleger law firm.

David Rible.

Rogut McCarthy specializes in “public entity law”.

d5T & M Engineers again.

d6Almost none of the money for any of the four candidates…at least on this month’s reports…comes from just regular people who live in the county.  Perhaps they are more represented in the under $300 donations but that is only a small percentage of the totals.  What a shame.
