Obviously Inlet Terrace wouldn’t have worked out so great either.

it must be nice to not maintain a sidewalk and shovel snow … let the pedestrians walk in the street!

#1 your a fool…… Im pretty sure that damage was not done by a pedestrian.
You sound like your just jealous and nasty. If you do not like the walking conditions walk some where else

#1 How is your comment relevant to this incident? Fortunately this happened in the early morning. Had it happened during the day no doubtmany people would have been many injured.

#3- your comment is not funny, jokes on the destruction of a persons property (whether they have money or not) no one deserves to have damage done to their personal property. Normally people dont wish ill on their neighbors, that “crummy house” certainly pays a huge chunk or property taxes to the Borough Im sure alot more then you contribute. Nasty comments, negative comments and never ending criticism does not convert tax dollars

#2 Challenge the commenter @#1 to a speed walk and “you’re” the fool. Many here are grammatically challenged, to boot, and I do not mean Mr. Dilberger.

I personally like that house. It’s different and looks great positioned like that on the street. No doubt the owner has insurance and will get it fixed.

#4 get a sense of humor, not everything is so serious all the time.

#5-Speaking of taxes on THAT house. Can someone take a look at the tax history there, appears taxes were cut heavily two years ago. Maybe a typo on the site I checked out.

Sad that people have such negative comments on an unfortunate event that damaged a home in Belmar. I’m sure the jealous people sitting at their computer making such uneducated, rude comments would act different if it were their home damaged. Shame on them to wish ill will upon another resident.

Wow, I am amazed at what some folks read into the comments of people who state their observations and opinions. I, personally, do not pick up any negativity, jealousy, ill will wishing, rudeness, etc. I guess there must be some desire to feel separate from others by criticizing the writers of comments, except for me, of course. Getting ones point across in poor English is commendable, I suppose. Joan Rivers probably would have come up with a “good one”, God rest her soul, lest I be criticized for being insensitive. I have to go shovel some doggie doo from my well maintained sidewalk.

Guess the driver didn’t realize the bridge was under construction.. Just a shame that the car chase had to end in destruction on a beautiful belmar property. Glad no one was hurt and hope Belmar residents can be more supportive in the future rather than joke about damaging another residents home.

#13 beautiful house? This home is a garish eyesore. I’m sure someone in Miami would like it, but it has always looked out of place in Belmar.

there wasn’t any damage to the resident’s home … there was damage to the gate and masonry pylon.

the gateway fulfilled its intended purpose of protecting the home from motor vehicle collision.
